Cross the left loop over the right one to make a smaller loop.
Pull the ribbon tails to shorten the loops and adjust the size of the bow while holding onto the center knot. Likewise pull the ribbon loops to make them larger and to tighten the knot. Adjust the overall length so that the distance between the two a marks on the bow tie ends equals your neck size. There are several different ways to tie a bow but this method is so simple and works every time.
